• Turn the appliance on by using the speed selector knob.
Choose the speed you need, or select the "Program"
position if you want to use the program functions Turbo,
Ice crush, or Smoothies/Creams.
• Turn the speed selector knob to Max to speed up, and
turn it to Min to slow down.
• If you wish to add more ingredients, pull out the
measuring cup and add it.
• To stop the appliance, set the speed back to the "0"
position.
• To avoid a fierce start-up, it is advisable to start off from
the lowest speed position. Once the appliance has been
switched on, progressively increase the speed to the
desired position.
ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL
• The speed of the appliance can be regulated by using the
speed selector knob (I). This function is very useful, as it
makes it possible to adapt the speed of the appliance to
the type of work that needs to be done.
TURBO, ICE CRUSH, SMOOTHIES/CREAMS
FUNCTIONS
• To select one of these functions, turn the speed selector
knob to the "Program" position and select the desired
program using the indicated program button.
TURBO FUNCTION
• The appliance works at the highest speed to achieve
optimal performance.
• Press this button to operate and release the button when
you wish to stop operating.
• We recommend working by pressing the button in cycles
of 5 seconds and repeating the operation until you obtain
the desired result.
ICE CRUSH FUNCTION
• This function gives optimal results for ice-crushing up to
the desired snowy level.
• Press this button once to start the program. This program
combines cycles of approximately one second with cycles
of rest. Its total duration is 39 seconds.
• You can end the function at any time by pressing the
button again.
SMOOTHIES/CREAMS FUNCTION
• This function is designed to make smoothies, creams,
purees, gazpacho, etc.
• Press this button once to start the program. This program
will last one minute.
• You can end the function at any time by pressing the
button again.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE
• Stop the appliance, selecting the "0" position on the
speed selector knob.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains.
• Lift the jar from the motor body.
• Allow to cool.
• Clean the appliance.
SAFETY THERMAL PROTECTOR
• The appliance has a safety device which protects the
appliance from overheating.
• If the appliance turns itself off and does not switch itself
on again, disconnect it from the mains supply and wait
for approximately 20 minutes before reconnecting. If the
machine does not start again, seek authorised technical
assistance.
CLEANING
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to
cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
• Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops
of washing-up liquid and then dry.
• Do not use solvents or products with an acid or base pH,
such as bleach or abrasive products, for cleaning the
appliance.
• Do not let water or any other liquid get into the air vents to
avoid damage to the inner parts of the appliance.
• Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid
or place it under running water.
• During the cleaning process, take special care with the
blades, as they are very sharp.
• It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly and
remove any food remains.
• If the appliance is not in good condition and cleanliness,
its surface may degrade and inexorably affect the
duration of the appliance's useful life and could become
unsafe to use.
• The following pieces may be washed in a dishwasher
(using a soft cleaning program) or soapy hot water:
- Jar
- Jar lid
- Blade set
- Lid sealing ring
- Blade fixing ring
• Then, dry all parts before their assembly and storage.
