10.2 Care instructions
Cleaning:
Turn the compression liner inside out and clean it with 10H2 Skin Care Washing Lotion and
hot water. Please do not use any chemical cleaners or soaps on oil basis. Thorough rinsing of
the compression liner with hot water and finally with distilled water is mandatory in order to
prevent any residue on the surface. The compression liner may also be laundered in a washing
machine at up to 90 °C.
Disinfection:
Put the compression liner in a bowl filled with disinfectant (e.g. Teralin Protect® by Schülke).
Please follow the product information and instructions carefully. Rinse with water after
removing from the bowl and dry with a clean, lint-free cloth. Finally, spray the compression liner
with disinfectant. After this treatment, the compression liner can be used again.
11 Maintenance
The compression liner is subject to wear and tear due to permanent use and repeated cleaning
and disinfection. Therefore, it must be checked daily for damages and exchanged if necessary.
12 Use
This product requires qualified and individual adaption to the patient according to medical
indication. All adjustments must be done by qualified professional staff.
12.1 Use Restrictions
Because of the fitting and for hygienic reasons, we have to point out that the product is to be
used only by one patient and must not be given to any other patient.
12.2 Misuse of Product
This product is exclusively designed for postoperative compression therapy of leg stumps and is
not intended for any other purpose or use.
12.3 Useful Life
The maximum useful life of the product is limited to 3 months.
