Dispose of old electrical devices in an environmentally friendly way
For the safe handling of batteries, please note:
Only commercially approved AA batteries in perfect condition are
allowed to be used.
For the proper disposal of batteries, please note:
The empty batteries must be disposed of in accordance with the
legal provisions of the Battery Act (BattG) (in Germany) or local re-
gulations as applicable, i.e. handed in at the collection points set
up by the retailers. Empty batteries must not be disposed of with
household waste.
Only dispose of used charcoal in designated containers made of
metal or other non-combustible materials. Do not dispose of it in
plastic containers or other containers made of flammable materials.
Empty cartridges are considered packaging and should be dispo-
sed of in bins for separately collected recyclable materials (yellow
bag/bin) or in the container for metal waste at the recycling center.
Only completely empty cartridges are allowed to be disposed of in
the yellow bin! If you want to dispose of an opened gas cartridge,
you must empty it first.
Empty the gas cartridges only outdoors to avoid poisoning in closed
rooms.
Dispose of your old device separately from household waste by
handing it over to the designated collection points. The manufac-
turer will provide you with this information upon request.
