B. Gas Operation
B1. Take the inner bowl (6) out of the outer bowl (7).
B2. Check that slider B (19) is in the "FOR GAS" position and that slider A (18) "GASPORT" is in the
"OPEN" position.
B3. Place the inner bowl (6) back into the outer bowl (7).
B4. Insert the gas burner container (5) with integrated riser pipe into the air pipe (20) in the middle of the
grill and tighten until it stops. Do not overwind!
IMPORTANT
B5. Remove the silicone plug (21) from the gas connection and press it into the hole provided on the lower
part of the valve.
B6. Screw the valve with gas hose (15) into the gas connection (10). Tighten hand-tight, do not overwind!
B7. Check that the valve is closed, i.e. the control knob (16) is turned completely in the "-" direction or
clockwise.

B8. Screw a suitable gas cartridge onto the adapter (17) on the hose.

Check that the seals (between the device and the gas cartridge) are in
place and in good condition before connecting the gas hose and gas cart-
ridge. Replace as necessary. See illustrations.
The gas cartridge must be changed in a well-ventilated area, preferably
outdoors and away from all possible sources of ignition, such as open fla-
mes, pilot lights, electrical cooking appliances and away from other people.
Torsional stress on the hose must be avoided.
If your appliance is leaking gas (smell of gas), immediately take it outside
to an area with good air circulation and without any sources of ignition
where the leak can be located and repaired. Check the tightness of your
device only outdoors. Never search for a leak with a flame; use soapy
water instead!
Never immerse the entire device in soapy water! Risk of damage to the
electronics.
If you suspect that there may be a leak inside the grill, you must send the
device in for inspection. To do this, contact your retailer.
