The Vollrath Company LLC warrants the products it manufactures or distributes against defects in materials and workmanship as
specifically described in our full warranty statement. In all cases, the warranty runs from the date of the end user's original purchase
date found on the receipt. Any damages from improper use, abuse, modification, or damage resulting from improper packaging during
return shipment for warranty repair will not be covered under warranty.

Potential Cause

Machine is not plugged in.

Main fuse is burned out.

Circuit board fuse is burned out.

Lid micro switch might need adjusting.
•
Control transformer fuse is burned out.

Gas spring is damaged.
•
Lid micro switch might need adjusting.

Pump might be damaged.
•
Lid might not have opened correctly.

Machine has reached a scheduled oil change.

Pump conditioning program needs to run.
•
Set vacuum time is too short.
•
Extraction hole at vacuum chamber back is partially
covered by the vacuum bag during extraction.

Lid gasket is worn.
•
There is too little oil in the vacuum pump.
•
Oil is contaminated.
•
Oil exhaust filter is saturated.
•
Oil exhaust filter is saturated.
•
Pump's extraction filter is blocked.
•
Vacuum bag is placed incorrectly on the Sealing Bar.
•
Sealing time is too long or too short.
•
Seal pad is damaged or worn.
•
Teflon tape is damaged.
•
Vacuum bag opening is not clean.

Plug the machine in.
•

•
Check the lid.
•
Contact Vollrath Technical Services.

Refer to the Cleaning section of this manual.
•
Extend the vacuum time.
•
Place the vacuum bag closer to the sealing bar.
•
Replace the lid gasket.
•
Contact Vollrath Technical Services.
•
Place vacuum bag on sealing bar, ensuring the
opening is within the vacuum chamber and the bag
is smooth.
•
Adjust the sealing time.
•
Replace the seal pad.
•
Replace the Teflon tape.
•
Clean the vacuum bag's opening.
