• Connect the appliance to the mains.
• Once the water has boiled the appliance will switch off
automatically.
• The appliance can be switched on again using the on/off
button once the control device has cooled, if it does not
turn on on again, do not force it, allow it to cool.
Note: When the appliance is not heating, it will turn off if
there is no operation within 1 minute. You can turn it on
again by using the on/ off button.
• 70º Mode: Press 70º button to heat water to 70º.
Recommended for white tea.
• 80º Mode: Press 80º button to heat water to 80º.
Recommended for green tea.
• 90º Mode: Press 90º button to heat water to 90º.
Recommended for Oolong tea.
• Boil Mode: Press "Boil" button to heat water to 100º.
• Keep warm Mode: Press the "Warm" button and then
select a temperature manually or by selecting a preset
mode to enter "Keep Warm" mode. In this mode, the
device will maintain the selected temperature for 2 hours.
• Once the time is reached, the device will turn off
automatically.
• In this mode, the device will remain in "Keep Warm" mode
up to ten times after having lifted the device from its base
as long as the temperature has not dropped more than 8
degrees from the temperature selected when activating
the mode.
• When a mode is selected, the temperature display shows
the selected temperature, after a few seconds, it returns
to displaying the current temperature.
• When the selected temperature is reached, the appliance
beeps.
• After 30 seconds the appliance turns off.
ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE
• The temperature of this appliance can be adjusted
manually or can be modified when you select one of the
predefined Modes.
• This adjustment can be made by using the increase and
decrease buttons. The temperature changes 5º with each
press, between 40º-100º
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE:
• Unplug the appliance from the mains.
• Remove the water from the inside of the appliance.
• Allow to cool
• Clean the appliance.
SUPPLY CORD HOUSING
• This appliance has a supply cord housing situated on its
underside of its base.
CARRY HANDLE
• This appliance has a handle on the side of the body,
which facilitates comfortable transport.
SAFETY THERMAL PROTECTOR
• The appliance has a safety device, which protects the
appliance from overheating. If the appliance has reached
an overheated stage, let it rest for 10 minutes and try to
swith on again.
• If it does not start again does not start again seek
authorised technical assistance.
CLEANING
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to
cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
• Clean the electrical equipment with a damp cloth and dry.
DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
• Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops
of washing-up liquid and then dry.
• Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH
such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the
appliance.
• No part of this appliance is suitable for cleaning in the
dishwasher.
• Then dry all parts before its assembly and storage.
HOW TO DEAL WITH LIME SCALE INCRUSTATIONS:
• For the appliance to work correctly it should be kept free
of limescale or magnesium incrustations caused by the
use of hard water.
• To prevent this kind of problem, we recommend the use of
water with low lime or magnesium mineralisation.
• However, if it is not possible to use the kind of water
recommended above, you should periodically remove the
lime scale from the appliance:
- Every 6 weeks if the water is "very hard".
- Every 12 weeks if the water is "hard".
• A specific anti-lime scale product should be used on this
kind of product.
• Homemade solutions are not recommended in the
decaling of this appliance, such as the use of vinegar.
