Allow the residual water to drain completely from the appliance. If necessary, lift
the appliance slightly on the opposite side for faster water drainage.
Close the closure and clean the interior as described below.

Delicate surfaces can be damaged if handled incorrect-
ly.
Never use acidic, abrasive or granular cleaning
agents or cleaning agents containing acetic acid,
soda or solvents. These may damage the appliance
surfaces or the printing on it.
Do not use any flammable liquids to clean the appli-
ance or appliance parts. An accumulation of gas can
lead to explosions.
Do not put the ice cube basket or the ice scoop in
the dishwasher.
Clean the ice cube basket and the ice scoop with warm water and a mild deter-
gent such as dishwashing liquid. Use a soft cloth. Dry the parts thoroughly with
a lint-free cloth.
Clean the interior with a cloth slightly dampened with a vinegar solution. Then
dry the interior thoroughly with a lint-free cloth.
Clean the housing with a slightly damp cloth.
Check regularly that the filter screen
of the drinking water tank is clear.
Remove the filter cover (see Fig. 4).
Clean contamination from the filter
screen of the drinking water tank us-
ing a soft brush.
