7.2.1. WEEDING
This machine can be used to eliminate weeds from
the surface. To guarantee the best possible results,
the grass must have been recently cut using a brush
cutter or lawnmower so that the tiller can reach the
base of the ground easily.
1. Place the tiller on the work area with the blades on
the floor.
2. Press the On/Off switch.
3. Move the machine slowly over the surface,
pressing lightly but ensuring that the blades do not
enter the soil more than just a few millimetres.
Note: If when weeding, these get tangled on the
blades, stop the machine, disconnect from the mains
and wearing protecting gloves, remove the weeds
from the blades.
7.2.2. OXYGENATING THE SOIL
This machine can move soil to facilitate that it is
well oxygenated. To do this job, previously all grass
and other objects must have been removed from the
surface to be worked on.
To oxygenate soil:
1. Place the tiller on the work area with the blades on
the floor.
2. Press the On/Off switch
3. Press lightly on the tiller so that the blades enter
the soil between 5 and 7 cm.
4. Move the tiller slowly and at an adequate rhythm
so as to allow the tiller to break the soil adequately.
7.2.3. USAGE TIPS
The blades when in movement will pull the machine
forwards. If you counteract this by pulling the machine
back, the blades will penetrate more into the ground.
You can also exert some pressure by pulling the handle
downwards so that the blades penetrate the soil further.
If the tiller gets stuck and does not advance, move the
handle from left to right until the machine frees itself.
When working in slight inclines, always position
yourself above the machine so that the machine is
always at a lower level than yourself.
8. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
The removal of security devices, inappropriate
maintenance or the substitution of parts by non
original parts could cause severe injuries.
Always do maintenance work with the
machine unplugged from the mains.
Unplug the machine before carrying
out any work on the machine. Read the
instruction manual before carrying out any
maintenance work.
Attention! The blades do not stop
automatically once the engine has been
stopped.
8.1. MAINTENANCE AFTER WORKING WITH THE
MACHINE
Carry out the following checks when you have finished
working to ensure that the machine works well in the
future.
8.1.1. GENERAL CHECKS
- Check the cable and ensure that the cable has
neither worn off or has been cut.
- Check that the blades are well adhered to the
