OPERATION
Gas supply: connect the argon gas hose to the copper nozzle located on the rear panel. All gas equipment must be
composed of the gas tank, the regulator and the gas hose. Use the hose clamp to tighten and prevent gas leakage
and air intake. Install the argon gas bottle according to the diagram and connect the control knob, the air inlet in the
corresponding location on the panel, and tighten clockwise.
MMA FUNCTION TO THE ARC
1. Connect the quick coupling of the electrode holder cable to the output terminal on the left, the one which
has the negative polarity marked on it (-). You must press clockwise.
2. Connect the quick-connect cable of the connecting clamp to the material (ground clamp or mass) in the
terminal on the right, which has the positive polarity marked on it (+). You must press clockwise.
NOTE: The connection shown above is called positive connection or direct polarity. This is suitable
for acid welding; while for the alkaline or with stainless steel it must be with negative connection
(inverted polarity) where the electrode holder is connected to the positive one.
CUT FUNCTION
1. Install the air regulator with the filter included in the package, on the back of the welder, according to the
instructions shown in the following page.
2. Connect the hoses supplied from an air compressor to the IN terminal of the air filter.
3. Also connect a hose from the filter outlet to the gas inlet located at the back of the machine, and tighten it
with the clamp (the air source must provide adequate pressure and flow).
4. Connect the cutting torch to the front panel by screwing the terminal of the air hose/gas to the air/gas outlet
terminal which is located in the middle of the board, and attach the control cable plug, which comes with
the hose, to the socket next to the air/gas outlet.
5. Prepare the torch with the corresponding nozzles.
