Initial operation
Be careful of hidden electrical lines or gas and
water pipes. Check the working area, e.g. with a
metal detector.
This tools was developed only for horizontal cut-
•
ting. Do not use it for cutting wall or ceiling.
Check for the correct mains voltage:
voltage of the power source must agree with
the voltage specified on the nameplate of the
machine. Equipment marked with 127 V can be
use to 115 V.

Operating instructions
Wear protective goggles, ear protection and a dust
protection mask.
Wear protective gloves and protective shoes.
Clamp the workpiece if it does not remain station-

ary due to its own weight.
Do not load the machine so heavily that is comes

to a standstill.
Caution!
Diamond cutting discs become very hot dur-
ing operation; do not touch them before they have cooled
down.
When cutting, do not press, tilt or oscillate. Work with
moderate advancing that is adapted to the material be-
ing worked.
Do not brake coasting cutting disks with side pressure.
CUTTING DIRECTION (fig. D)
Important is the direction in which cutting is per-formed.
The machine must always operate in the reverse sense;
therefore, only push the machine forwards! Otherwise
there is a danger of it being pressed out of the cut in an
uncontrolled fashion.

The cutting mark shows the position of the diamond cut-
ting disc for a right-angled cut.
A dull diamond grinding disc can be sharpened in abrasive
material (e. g., chalky sand stone).

Maintenance and cleaning
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always keep the ma-
chine and the ventilation slots clean.
If the machine should fail despite the rigorous manufac-
turing and testing procedures, repair should be carried
out by an authorized customer services center for Bosch
power tools.
Guarantee
We guarantee Bosch appliances in accordance with
statutory/country-specific regulations (proof of purchase
by invoice or delivery note).
Damage attributable to normal wear and tear, over-load or
improper handling will be excluded from the guarantee.
In case of complaint please send the machine,
