Problem: Water acid/alkaline balance (pH) is not as expected.
Cause: Very high or low pH in source water may be outside of adjustable range.
Solution: Use water with a more neutral pH.
Problem: Water tank has developed algae.
Cause: Water left too long in tank, or unit was placed in direct sunlight.
Solution: Rinse and flush the unit regularly to keep the contents fresh. Keep the Waterfall away
from sunlight. If algae develops, drain and clean both tanks using water and a mild detergent. Do
not scrub. Rinse both tanks throroughly and reassemble.
Problem: Mineral stones have developed algae or growth.
Cause: Water left too long in tank, or unit was placed in direct sunlight.
Solution: Rinse and flush the unit regularly to keep the contents fresh. Keep the Waterfall away
from sunlight. If algae develops on stones, remove these, run under cold water and wipe clean.
Rinse thoroughly. Replace mineral stones with new ones regularly, at least once per year.
