First use
∙ Unpack the unit completely and remove
all packing materials.
∙ Allow the appliance to heat up for about
10 minutes with the two halves closed.
This will remove the smell typically
encountered when switching on any
toaster for the fi rst time. Ensure suffi cient
ventilation.
∙ Clean the appliance afterwards as
described in Cleaning and Care.
Operation
∙ Close the two halves.
∙ Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet.
The red main indicator light comes on.
