Safety equipment

A safety switch is located on the under-
side of the pedestal. The appliance then
switches itself off automatically if it is
tipped or falls over.
For this reason, always place the ap-
‹
pliance on a firm and even surface so
that the safety switch is in contact with
the surface.
Switch on the device.

To check the function of the safety switch,
proceed as follows:
Lift the pedestal of the appliance
‹
slightly so that there is no contact to
the surface. The safety equipment
switches off the appliance.
Put the appliance back onto a firm, flat
‹
surface and switch it on manually.
NOTE
► If the safety equipment switched
off the appliance, it does not NOT
switch on again automatically. It
must be switched on manually.
