measurements.
Press and hold the ON/MEM button for 5 seconds. When the Set icon starts to flash, it indicates that you
are in the setting screen. Use the ON/MEM button to scroll the 12/24 hour settings, the year, month and
date. Use the SCAN button to set the clock.

SCAN button with device switched off, then press and release the ON/MEM button until the
display shows the symbol °F or °C. Repeat the procedure to change the unit of measure again.

1) Press the ON/MEM button. After you hear two beep sounds and the icon
appears, the thermometer is ready for use.
2) Approach the thermometer to your temple, analyzing the area shown
in the figure.
3) Press the SCAN button and detect the value at close range around the
temple, with a very slow twisting motion.. While scanning, you will hear a
beep sound, which indicates the newest measurement is taking place.
Measurement has been completed after two short beeps are heard, after
5-30 seconds from the beginning of the measurement. The temperature
is now shown on the display. This is just an indication of the temperature
and determines only whether there is a temperature or not.
