− You can fi ll the water tank with distilled water in order to avoid
limescale build-up.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury/damage.
There is a risk of scalding and a risk of damage
to surrounding objects from the steam or from
limescale.
− Never leave the steam cleaner unattended during
the descaling process.
1. Fill the tank with vinegar and water at a ratio of 1/3.
2. Replace the water tank.
3. Plug in the appliance, allow it to heat up and switch on the steam
cleaner.
4. Place the appliance in a position where the surrounding surfaces
or fl oors are resistant to the steam, e.g. in the bathtub or shower
cubicle.
5. Leave the appliance to generate steam until the water tank is empty.
6. Repeat the descaling process as often as required to recover the
normal steam output.
7. Then fi ll the water tank with clean water and allow the appliance to
generate steam until the water tank is empty.
