10. BICYCLE ADJUSTMENT
Assemble the rear wheel
1. Turn the rear derailleur to the back part of the wheel. Assemble the
wheel with the rear fork leaving the freewheels and the chain in the
same side.
2. Place the chain in the smaller freewheel.
3. Place the axle in the rear fork.
4. Place the right side axle in the frame and tighten the quick release.
5. The quick reléase have no effect on the other parts of the bicycle.
6. Assemble again the brake shoes i fis neccesary. Check the proper
adjustment of the rear brake.
Disassemble the front Wheel
1. Place the bicycle backwards, supported on the saddle and the
handlebar. If was necessary, please disassemble the aluminium
cable of V-Brake to leave room for taking out of the wheel.
2. Set free the quick release, showing the word "OPEN" in the lever.
3. Disassemble the wheel of the fork.
Disassemble the tires
The majority of tires can be disassembled and replaced manually; if it
wasn't like that, it will be necessary special tools. Be sure to assemble
tube properly inside the tire. Never use harmful tools for the rim.
1. Remove the plastic cap from the valve.
2. Deflate the tube puting pressure over the valve.
3. The tire has to be loosed from the tire.
4. Place the wheel in the floor.
5. Take the tire with the hands.
6. Lift the tire and slip over the tire.
7. Hold the tire with one hand and remove the tire with the other hand.
