4. OPERATIONS

4.1

Switching the Unit On and Off

The power switch is located underneath the right-hand side of the scale. Push the
switch to the "I" position to turn the scale on, and to the "O" position to turn the scale
off. Allow 15-30 minutes for the scale to warm up before use.
Note: Make sure the weighing pan is empty before turning the scale on.
4.2

Manual Tare

A Tare value in memory is indicated by "NET" on the display.
Place the container on the weighing pan (ex. 100g), then press
TARE.
The weight is tared and display will show "0".
To clear the Tare value, press TARE with the pan empty.
4.3

Zero Operation

Center of Zero is indicated by "ZERO" on the display.
Press ZERO. "------" will be displayed momentarily before the
display is zeroed.
4.4

Changing Weighing Units

Press UNITS successively to toggle through the available
weighing units.
