Adaptable hard drive cages
The upper hard drive cage can be rotated 90 degrees to increase the airflow from the front
fan or completely removed to make more space for long graphics cards.
The lower HDD cage can be repositioned to provide more space in the front of the case.
This extra space is useful for front-mounted water-cooling radiators. The cage is secured
with 6 screws: four under the case and two at the front of the case. Once the screws are
removed, the lower HDD cage can be moved further back into the chassis to one of two
alternate positions, depending on how much space is required. The cage is re-secured by
screwing the four screws into the base of the case.
Water cooling options
The Arc Midi R2 was designed to allow for water cooling and supports the following compo-
nents:
Top panel: The strategic positioning of the fans in the top panel allows you to fit 240mm
radiators without risk of it conflicting with other components such as the motherboard or
the system memory. Even thick radiators may be used here.
Front panel: If you removed or repositioned the hard drive cages, thick 240mm radia-
tors may be fitted in the front panel.
Bottom/rear panel: 120mm radiators may be used at the fan positions at the bottom
and rear plates.
