Message Description
Low signal The photocell is dirty.
The photocell wires are
loose or disconnected.
The photocell is broken.
The lens is dirty.
The light path is blocked.
The sample turbidity is
greater than 100 NTU.
The lamp has a problem.
Bad system There is fluctuation in the
voltage power supply voltage.
The circuit board in the
turbidimeter head is faulty.
A/D converter There is fluctuation in the
timeout power supply voltage.
The circuit board in the
turbidimeter head is faulty.
High dark A light leak is present during
counts power on or during "zero
electronics".
The photocell is broken.

Solution
Refer to the user manual for
cleaning instructions.
Attach the photocell wires.
Replace the photocell. Refer to
the user manual.
Clean the lens with isopropyl
alcohol.
Examine the light path and
remove obstructions.
Change to a high-range
turbidimeter.
Refer to the solutions for the
"bad lamp" message.
Set the instrument power off
then on.
Contact technical support.
Set the instrument power off
then on.
Contact technical support.
Make sure that the turbidimeter
head is on the body and is
correctly aligned. Set the power
off then on, or do a ZERO
ELECTRONICS operation.
Replace the photocell. Refer to
the user manual.
