Operation
This device does not stop automatically nor indicate when
the batteries are fully charged.
Overcharged batteries can become very hot and explode.
Therefore, regularly test the charging batteries and do not
charge them longer than necessary. Also, never charge
batteries without supervision.
Plug the device into a mains outlet, even if only to test batteries.
Testing batteries
Set the function switch to "test".
Only the battery in the first slot (the left one) is tested. The test
LED (the white one at the top) will light up to indicate the strength
of the battery (no light means no power; bright light means a lot
of power). Batteries in other slots will be charged in the
meantime.
Discharging batteries
Set the function switch to "discharge" (this option is not available
for 6KR61/6HR61 batteries). The batteries' red LEDs will be
switched off to indicate the batteries are being discharged.
Note: the device will not switch to charge mode automatically
after discharge. Check if the batteries are fully discharged using
the 'test' function.
Charging batteries
Set the function switch to "charge".
The individual red LED lights up to indicate the inserted battery is
being charged.
