1. INTRODUCTION
The edition 02 of the general electric fitting instructions
implements following points:
new exterior control box [See Fig. 1.1]
new hydraulic power pack [See Fig. 1.2]
amendment to the European Standard, called EN1756
-1:2001+A1:2008 in its newest form
For the majority of DHOLLANDIA tail lifts (named HTL
hereafter) in standard execution, the control box is pre-
wired in the hydraulic power pack.
As a consequence, the electric installation is therefore
normally limited to:
The physical mounting of the exterior control box to
the vehicle body or chassis
The connection of the 25, 35 or 50 mm² (+) battery
cable from the control box or power pack to the posi-
tive pole of the vehicle batteries, or an other power
source
The connection of the 25, 35 or 50 mm² (-) earth cable
from the electromotor in the power pack to the nega-
tive pole of the vehicle batteries, or an other earth
point
And the installation of the auxiliary controls (foot con-
trols, wander lead, fixed interior control...)
If applicable: the fitting of a cabin switch on the
dashboard of the vehicle
