5.3 Safety signs
These warning and command signs are safety signs which warn of risks or danger.
Information in these assembly instructions on particular hazards or situations on the linear unit
must be observed, as failure to do so increases the risk of accidents.
The "General Command Sign" instructs you to be observant.
Marked information in these assembly instructions requires your particular attention.
It contains important information on functions, settings and procedures. Failure to
observe this information may lead to personal injury, faults in this linear unit or
damage to the environment.
The "Hot surface" warning sign warns against injuries from hot surfaces.
The "Danger of drawing in" warning sign warns of points on this product where you
could be drawn in.
The warning sign "Danger! Hand injuries" warns that hands may be crushed, drawn
in or injured in some other way.
The warning sign "Danger! Risk of cutting" warns against injury to the hands.
This symbol marks the floating bearing side of the guide slide on linear units of the
"Roller" type.
