31/10/00 11:15 - 11:20
This example shows the following incidents:
From 10:00 to 10:40 no major incidents occurred. If we take a particular register, like the
one measured between 10:20 and 10:25, we see that the equivalent level was LeqT =
85.4 dBA, the programmed alarm limit was 100 dBA and the maximum sound pressure
value with SLOW average was 100.4 dBA.
In the three registers between 10:40 and 10:55 the measured equivalent pressure level
exceeded the alarm limit (100 dBA). This incident is represented by the symbol (
In the register corresponding to the period 10:45 – 10:50 overload took place. This
incident is represented by the symbol ( ).
Finally, in the register corresponding to the period between 11:10 and 11:15 the
recording unit received no information from the sensor. This error is indicated by the
message "NO SENSOR", and is usually caused by undue manipulation of the sensor.
The information measured by the RS-60 may also be obtained through serial connection with
a computer, using the RS-60 data retrieval software (available for free on
[support and download]).
