Find the spring angle of your molding using

the included Angle Finder.
A. There are three common spring angles
(38°, 45°, and 52°). The spring angle is
simply the angle at which the bottom of the
molding intersects the wall. The 'bottom' of
the piece is always the more 'detailed' edge.
B. To find the spring angle of your molding, place
one side of the Angle Finder (L) on the large flat
back of the workpiece, and the other side on
the bottom angle of the workpiece, as shown.
