• Indoor use only.
• Leave the unit standing upright for 12 hours before connecting to the mains supply after transport or after it has been
tilted.
• Only use in the upright position on a flat level surface and at least 50cm from any objects.
• Do not use the unit in a potentially explosive environment containing combustible liquids or gases.
• Do not use the unit in swimming pools, washrooms or similar wet areas.
• Do not place objects on the unit or restrict the air inlet / outlet.
• Ensure that there is at least 36cm between the sides of the appliance and any flammable or heating materials.
• Avoid splashing the unit.
• Supervise any children and pets when unit is in use.
• Switch off and unplug when not in use.
• Do not pull the unit by the cord.
• Avoid over-twisting, -coiling, -pulling the power cord, never use nylon or iron wire to tie the power cord.
• Never reach to retrieve the unit if it has fallen in water. in such case, immediately unplug it from the mains and have the
unit checked before using it again.
• Use extension cords of the right amperage.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an electrician or similarly qualified person, to avoid hazard.
• The mains supply must conform to the specification shown on the rating plate at the back of the unit.
• Do not exceed the recommended room size for max. efficiency.
• Close doors and windows.
• Keep curtains or blinds closed during the sunniest part of the day.
• Keep filters clean.
• Only a licensed professional is allowed to dismantle or modify the appliance.
• The machine is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user/ope-
rator, not the manufactuer, will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused because of misuse.
This appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age and by individuals with limited physical,

sensory or mental capacities, or by inexperienced or untrained individuals, provided that they are su-
pervised or have been instructed in safe use of the appliance. Children must not play with the ap-
pliance. Cleaning and maintenance procedures - for which the user is responsible - must not be carried
out by children unless supervised.
A multi-pole switch must be used to install the appliance. The contact opening gap must be no less
