Blown fuses
Vehicle is overloaded
Driving conditions are too stressful

best performance, do not use substitute parts.
Make sure that the fuses in the 6 volt batteries are in good
condition. Replace blown fuses with Power Wheels
fuses. For best performance, do not use substitute parts.
Make sure you do not overload the vehicle by allowing more
than 2 riders at one time, by exceeding the 130 lbs. maximum
weight capacity, or by towing objects behind the vehicle. If
the vehicle is overloaded, it will automatically shut down.
The vehicle will reset itself after approximately 20 seconds.
Reduce the load on the vehicle to prevent additional
automatic shut-downs.
Use only on gentle inclines or slopes of 10˚ or less. Extreme
temperatures can also affect run time. If the driving conditions
are too stressful, the vehicle will automatically shut down. The
vehicle will reset itself after approximately 20 seconds. Adjust
the driving conditions to prevent additional automatic
shut-downs.
Charge the 6 volt batteries. New 6 volt batteries should have
been charged for at least 18 hours before using the vehicle or
the first time. After first-time use, recharge 6 volt batteries for
at least 14 hours after each use. Never charge the 6 volt
batteries longer than 30 hours.
Check all wires and connectors. Make sure the battery
connector is tightly plugged into the charger connector, and
that the charger is plugged into the wall.
Make sure power flow to the wall outlet is "ON".
Do not charge the 6 volt batteries longer than 30 hours.
Even with proper care, rechargeable 6 volt batteries do not
last forever. Average 6 volt battery life is 1 to 3 years depend-
ing on vehicle use and use conditions. Always replace 6 volt
batteries as a set; use of an older 6 volt battery with a newer
6 volt battery may cause permanent damage to both 6 volt
batteries. Replace BOTH 6 volt batteries with Power Wheels
Type H, 6 volt batteries. For best performance, do not use
substitute parts.
