4.2.3. Removing the leg rests
9
To transport your wheelchair as compactly as possible, you can
completely remove the leg rests along with the foot plates (Fig. 9).
Pull the handle in order to open the locking mechanism.
Swing the leg rest outwards 90° and pull it upwards (Fig. 9).
4.2.4. Adjusting the leg rest
10
TThe lower leg length can be adjusted in six levels.
(Fig. 10). Open the Velcro on the heel straps. Loosen the hexagon socket
screw (4mm) and slide the tube to the desired length. Ensure that the
complete number is visible in the window. Retighten the hexagon
socket screw. Ensure that both leg rests are adjusted to the same level
4.2.5. Adjusting the food plate
The angle of the foot plates can be adjusted
11
by simply unscrewing the hexagon socket screw. Adjust the foot plate
to the desired position by twisting the sprocket (Fig. 10). Secure the
hexagon socket screw again
4.2.6. Leg rest with calf pad
(optional)
As an alternative you have the option to get a leg rest with foot plates

4.2.7. Adjusting the leg rest with
calf pad.
The length of the leg rest can be individually adapted. Loosen the Allen
screw (Fig. 12) and slowly pull out the tube to which the foot rest is
attached in a downwards direction. The adjustment is variable. The
knurled area marks the maximum length. The knurling must not be
visible. Repeat the same process with the other side. Ensure that both
lengths are adjusted equally.
4.2.8. Adjusting the calf pad
Height
As standard practice, the height of the calf pad can be adjusted in
three stages (Fig. 13). To do this, rotate the calf pad out of the groove,
push it along the tube and rotate into back into the groove.
Depth
You can also adjust the depth of the calf pads.
Loosen the rear screw, push the pad into the desired position and
tighten the screw again.
(see Fig. 13).
4.2.9. Adjusting the knee angle.
The knee angle can be adjusted in a wide range, up to a horizontal
position.
Loosen the knurled screw (Fig. 15).
Move the leg rest into the desired position by raising or lowering
the foot plate support tube.
Tighten the knurled screw again
