5.3 Bluetooth receiver

As an alternative to the replay from a USB
flash drive or memory card, the integrated
Bluetooth receiver allows wireless connection
to a Bluetooth audio source (e . g . smartphone
or tablet computer) .
1) To switch to the Bluetooth mode, press
the button MODE (14) repeatedly until the
display (13) shows
BLUETOOTH
as the receiver has not been paired with a
transmitter, the bottom line of the display
will show
UNCONNECTED
2) Activate the Bluetooth function at the
Bluetooth source . On the list of available
devices, PMX-164 will appear as "Blue-
tooth" .
3) Pair the source with "Bluetooth" (refer
to the manual of the Bluetooth source, if
required) . The two devices will be paired
automatically . The display information of
the receiver will change to

PLAYING
The volume of the Bluetooth replay de-
pends on the settings of the Bluetooth source,
on the audio player/Bluetooth receiver (but-
tons V+/ V−) and on the overall volume con-
trol MASTER (21) .
