FUNCTIONALITY

4.1.

Zones selector

This equipment has five buttons for selecting the zones individually and another button for general
call. Music and priority messages will be broadcasted by selected zones.
4.2.

Preannouncement tones

This amplifier incorporates two selectable pre-recorded tones, chine and siren, activated from the
corresponding buttons located on the front panel. Chime activation is activated by pulse, while siren
can be activated by pulse or lock.
4.3.

Input gain control

Channels 1 to 6 have a gain control which permits to adjust, in a 44 dB range, the sensitivity of each
one. There are also gain controls for TELE-PAGING input, CHIME and MUSIC ON HOLD output.
4.4.

Priority

Channels 1 and 2 have VOX priority. The signal of other channels, including internal music source,
is muted when TALKOVER switch is set to ON and audio signal is detected in the channel.
TELE-PAGING, SIREN, CHIME and PM-5Z, have also VOX priority over non priority channels.
This equipment has two priority layers:
1  PM-5Z, TEL-PAGING, SIREN, CHIME and CH1-CH2 (with priority activated).
2  CH1 – CH2 (without priority activated), CH3 - CH6 and internal music source.
Priority audio will only be broadcasted by the zones previously selected in the front panel.
