4. FUNCTIONALITY

4.1. Zones selector

This equipment has five buttons for selecting the zones individually and another button for general
call. Music and priority messages will be broadcasted by selected zones.

4.2. Preannounced chime

AM-120Z amplifier incorporates two selectable pre-recorded tones, gong and siren, activated from
the corresponding buttons located on the front panel. Gong activation is activated by pulse, while
siren can be activated by pulse or interlock.

4.3. Input gain control

Channels 1 to 6 have a gain control which permits to adjust, in a 44 dB range, the sensitivity of
each one.

4.4. Priority

This function activates the VOX priority in
channels 1 and 2. The signal of other
channels is muted when this switch is set to
ON and audio signal is detected in the
channel.

This equipment has two priority layers:
1 -> Tel-paging, siren, gong and CH1-CH2
(With priority activated).
2 -> CH1 – CH2 (Without priority activated)
and CH3 - CH6.

4.5. Phantom power

This equipment has Phantom power +15
VDC selectable for Channels 1 and 2.
