1 Operating Elements
and Connections
1.1 Microphone IRS-2..HT
1 IR transmitter
2 Power switch: keep pressed for a while;
the lighting colour will indicate the battery status:
green = sufficient; red = low
3 3.5 mm input jack to connect a tie clip / headband
microphone or a unit with line signal level (e. g.
MP3 player),
when the jack is connected, the internal micro-
phone will be deactivated
4 Mute button
lower position (MUTE) = sound off
upper position (TALK) = sound on
5 Inside the battery compartment: Switch to select
the IR transmission channel
Channel A (2.3 MHz), factory-set on IRS-200HT
Channel B (2.8 MHz), factory-set on IRS-202HT
6 Inside the battery compartment: Switch to select
the transmission power: HI or LOW
7 Latch of the battery compartment cover: to un -
lock the cover, push the latch towards the micro-
phone head
1.2 Sensor IRS-200IR
8 Bracket for wall / ceiling mounting via four drill
holes
9 F standard jack to connect one of the jacks

vated, green = reception of IR signal)

transmission channel B
24 F standard jacks to connect up to two external
IR sensors IRS-200IR to extend the IR trans-
mission range
25 Outputs 1 and 2 to connect the speakers; the
terminal pairs arranged one above the other are
connected in parallel
The total impedance of each output must not fall
below 4 Ω.
26 Inputs PC and AUX (via stereo RCA jacks) to
connect units with line signal level, e. g. CD
player, DVD player, PC
27 3-way equalizer for the signal of the output AUX

28 Volume control for the signal of the output AUX

29 Output AUX OUT with line signal level (via
3.5 mm stereo jack) to route the mixed signals,
e. g. to a recorder
Note: The 2-way tone control (16) on the front side will
not affect the AUX OUT signal.
30 Voltage selector switch for connecting the
announcement input (31) to a PA system oper-
ating with 25 V, 70 V or 100 V technique: set the
voltage corresponding to the output voltage of
the PA amplifier
31 Announcement input with priority circuit for
connection to the speaker cable of a PA system
(25 V, 70 V or 100 V technique)
32 Power supply jack for the charging station IRS-
200PS (optional accessory); connection of the
charging station via the supplied cable with low
voltage plugs
33 Power supply jack to connect the power supply
unit provided
34 Strain relief for the cable of the power supply
unit (
