Ensamblaje del cabezal del taladro de
columna en la columna (fig. 8)
1. Levante cuidadosamente el ensamblaje del cabezal del
taladro de columna (1) y coloque el agujero de montaje del
cabezal del taladro de columna sobre la parte de arriba de
la columna (2). Asegúrese de que el cabezal esté asentado
apropiadamente en la columna.
2. Alinee la dirección del cabezal del taladro de columna con la
dirección de la base y la mesa.
3. Apriete los dos tornillos de ajuste (3) utilizando la llave Allen.
Mangos de avance (fig. 9)
1. Enrosque las varillas de los tres mangos de avance (1) en los
agujeros ubicados en el buje de avance (2).
2. Apriételas a mano.
¡Advertencia! Uno o dos de los mangos de avance se pueden
retirar si una pieza de trabajo con forma inusual interfiere con la
rotación de los angos.
Pilas del láser (fig. 10)
1. Apague el láser.
2. Presione la lengüeta (1) ubicada debajo del interruptor del
laser (2) y levante la cubierta del interruptor del láser (3).
3. Inserte dos pilas "AA" en el compartimiento de pilas del laser
(4).
4. Cierre la cubierta del interruptor del láser.
¡Advertencia! Retire las pilas de la luz láser cuando la
herramienta se vaya a almacenar sin usarla durante unos
cuantos días o más. Si las pilas se dejan puestas en la
herramienta, podrían tener fugas y dañar el ensamblaje de la luz
láser. Los daños debidos a fugas de las pilas no están cubier-
tos por la garantía.
Montaje del taladro de columna (fig. 11)
El taladro de columna se debe sujetar firmemente a través de los
agujeros de montaje (1) a una base de soporte o un banco de
trabajo con sujetadores extrafuertes. Esto evitará que el taladro de
columna se vuelque, se deslice o se desplace durante su utilización.
Importante: Si la base de soporte o el banco de trabajo tiene
tendencia a moverse durante la utilización de la herramienta, sujete
dicha base o banco firmemente al piso.

Drill press head to column (fig. 8)
1. Lift the drill press head assembly (1) carefully and place
the mounting hole of the drill press head onto the top of the
column (2). Make sure the head is seated properly on the
column.
2. Align the direction of the drill press head to the direction of the
base and the table.
3. Tighten the two set screws (3) using an Allen wrench.
Feed handles (fig. 9)
1. Thread the three feed handle rods (1) into the holes on the
feed hub (2).
2. Hand tighten.
Warning! One or two of the feed handles may be removed if an
unusually-shaped workpiece interferes with handle rotation.
Laser batteries (fig. 10)
1 Turn off the laser.
2. Press the tab (1) located below the laser switch (2) and lift up
the laser switch cover (3).
3. Insert 2 "AA" batteries in the laser battery compartment (4).
4. Close the laser switch cover.
Warning! Remove the laser light batteries when the tool is
to be stored without use for a few days or more. If left in
position, the batteries might leak and damage the laser
light assembly. Damage due to leaking batteries is not
covered under the warranty.
Mount the drill press (fig. 11)
Your drill press must be securely fastened through the mounting
holes (1) to a stand or work bench with heavyduty fasteners. This
will prevent the drill press from tipping over, sliding, or walking during
operation.
Important: If the stand or workbench has a tendency to move during
operation, fasten it securely to the floor.
