4 Bedienung
1) Den Talkover-Schalter (6) nach unten (Position
TALKOVER) stellen. (In Position ON werden die
Pegel der Kanäle 1+ 2 um 12 dB abgesenkt.)
2) Den Crossfader (17) nach links schieben und mit
dem Fader CH 1 (2) den Pegel vom Kanal 1 ein-
stellen und mit dem Summenregler MASTER (12)
den Pegel der Ausgänge REC (21) und AMP (22).
Die Ausgangspegel werden mit der LED-Kette (3)
angezeigt.
3) Den Crossfader (17) nach rechts schieben und
mit dem Fader CH 2 (4) den Pegel Kanal 2 ein-
stellen.
4) Mit dem Crossfader (17) kann nun zwischen den
Kanälen 1+ 2 übergeblendet werden. Sollen die
Kanäle 1+ 2 gleichzeitig auf die Ausgänge gege-
ben werden, ist der Crossfader in die Mittelstel-
lung zu schieben.
5) Der Kanal, der mit dem Crossfader (17) gerade
ausgeblendet ist, kann durch Drücken der ent-
sprechenden Trigger-Taste (15 oder 19) einge-
blendet werden. Solange die Trigger-Taste ge-
drückt gehalten wird, ist der dazugehörige Kanal
eingeblendet (in der mit dem entsprechenden
Fader eingestellten Lautstärke).
5 Vorhör-Kontrolle (Monitor)
Die Kanäle 1+ 2 können einzeln oder zusammen
über einen Kopfhörer abgehört werden. Damit kann
z. B. über dem ausgeblendeten Kanal das nächste
Musikstück am CD- oder Plattenspieler gesucht oder
der gewünschte Zeitpunkt zum Überblenden auf den
anderen Kanal gewählt werden.
1) Einen Kopfhörer (Impedanz ≥ 8 Ω) an die Buchse
PHONES (18) anschließen.
2) Mit dem Regler CUE LEVEL (13) die Lautstärke
einstellen.
3) Mit dem Regler CUE (14) den Kanal einstellen,
der abgehört werden soll. In der Mittelstellung
MIX sind beide Kanäle gleichzeitig zu hören.
4 Operation
1) Set the TALKOVER switch (6) to the TALKOVER
position downwards (In ON position the level of
the channels1+ 2 is attenuated by 12 dB).
2) Slide the cross fader (17) to the left and adjust
with the fader CH 1 (2) the level of channel 1 and
with the MASTER control (12) the level of the out-
puts REC (21) and AMP (22). The output level is
displayed by the LED bargraph (3).
3) Slide the cross fader (17) to the right and adjust
the level of channel 2 with the fader CH 2 (4).
4) Now with the cross fader (17) it can be faded bet-
ween channels 1+ 2. If the channels1+ 2 are to be
passed to the outputs at the same time, slide the
cross fader to the mid-position.
5) The channel which has just been faded out with
the cross fader (17) can be heard by depressing
the corresponding trigger button (15 or 19). As
long as the trigger button is kept depressed, the
corresponding channel is heard (with the volume
being adjusted with the respective fader).
5 Pre-Fader Listening (Monitoring)
The channels 1+ 2 can be monitored via head-
phones individually or together. Via the channel
which has been faded out it is e. g. possible to search
the next music piece of the CD player or turntable or
to select the desired point of time for fading in the
other channel.
1) Connect headphones (impedance ≥ 8 Ω) to the
PHONES jack (18).
2) Adjust the volume with the CUE LEVEL control
(13).
3) Adjust the channel to be monitored with the CUE
control (14). In the mid-position MIX both chan-
nels can be monitored at the same time.
6 Mikrofondurchsagen
Für ein angeschlossenes Mikrofon mit den Reglern
TREBLE (8) und BASS (9) den Klang einstellen und
mit dem Regler DJ MIC (7) die Lautstärke. Zur bes-
seren Verständlichkeit einer Mikrofondurchsage kön-
nen mit dem Talkover-Schalter (6) in Position ON die
Pegel der Kanäle 1+ 2 um 12 dB abgesenkt werden.

6 Microphone Announcements
For a connected microphone adjust the tone with the
TREBLE (8) and BASS (9) controls and the volume
with the DJ MIC control (7). For better intelligibility of
a microphone announcement the level of the chan-
nels 1+ 2 can be attenutated by 12 dB with the TALK-
OVER switch (6) in ON position.
