INTRODUCTION
This manual was written simply and logically, in order for the reader to become familiar with the SOUND TOP display
case.
Please, read this manual carefully and keep it with the machine. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any per-
sonal injury or property damage caused by failure to comply with the instructions contained in this manual. All users of
the equipment must read this manual.
With regard to the Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/CE), this refrigerated cabinet is rated in category 1.
With reference to pressure circuits, P x V < 200 bar x litre, DN < 32 for piping and the working fluid in the refrigera-
tion circuit belongs in group 2.The components of the circuit are rated in category 1.
This cabinet complies with the Machinery Directive (2006/42/CE) and is outside the scope of the PED directive under
article 1.3.6.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
ENSURE THAT THE AIR SLOTS ON THE EQUIPMENT'S CASING ARE FREE AND UNOBSTRUCTED.
DO NOT USE TOOLS OR MEANS OTHER THAN THOSE RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER TO SPEED UP
DEFROSTING.
DO NOT USE ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES INSIDE THE FROZEN FOOD STORAGE COMPARTMENTS, UNLESS SPE-
CIFICALLY RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
DO NOT STORE EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES SUCH AS PRESSURIZED FLAMMABLE PROPELLANT CONTAINERS IN THE
REFRIGERATED CABINET.
KEEPING PHARMACEUTICALS, GLASS BOTTLES OR FLASKS IN THE CABINET IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN AS THEY COULD
BREAK AND ENTAIL A SAFETY HAZARD.
DO NOT EXPOSE THE EQUIPMENT TO ATMOSPHERIC AGENTS.
DO NOT USE DIRECT OR INDIRECT WATER JETS ON THE CABINET. DO NOT TOUCH THE EQUIPMENT WITH DAMP
OR WET HANDS OR FEET; DO NOT OPERATE IT WHILE BAREFOOT.
THE EQUIPMENT IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE BY PERSONS HAVING IMPAIRED PHYSICAL, SENSORY OR MENTAL
CAPABILITIES (CHILDREN INCLUDED), OR BY PERSONS HAVING POOR EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE, UNLESS THEY
ARE ASSISTED BY SOMEBODY IN CHARGE OF THEIR SAFETY OR BY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE OF THE EQUIP-
MENT. SURVEILLANCE MUST BE EXERCISED ON CHILDREN IN ORDER FOR THEM NOT TO PLAY WITH THE EQUIP-
MENT.
THE POWER CORDS MUST BE SPREAD OUT, SAFE FROM SHOCKS, FAR FROM LIQUIDS, WATER AND HEAT SOURCES
AND THEY MUST BE IN PERFECT CONDITION.
ENSURE THAT THE AVAILABLE MAINS VOLTAGE MEETS THE DETAILS ON THE RATING PLATE OF THE CABINET. THE
CABINET MUST BE PROPERLY CONNECTED TO THE EARTHING SYSTEM.
JOBS INVOLVING THE COOLING CIRCUIT OR THE WIRING SYSTEM MAY ONLY BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED PER-
SONNEL. BEFORE ANY SERVICING, ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE PLUG OF THE CABINET FROM THE MAINS OUTLET.
