remote control blink on then off then release both buttons. This sets the
remote control to use codeset 1 (or codeset 2 if TUNER and 2 are held).
PEQ FUNCTION: Turns the PEQ function On or Off.
DISPLAY: Sets the information shown on the main HDMI OSD and front TFT
display. Settings are "Off", "HDMI Only", "TFT Only" or "HDMI And TFT".
TFT BRIGHTNESS: Sets the brightness of the front TFT display. Settings range
from -10 to +10.
NETWORK WAKEUP: Enables or Disables power on and power off via the
network connection. Enable this function for use with automation systems
using IP control.
NOTE: When Network Wakeup is configured to enabled, the RAP- 1580
will consume additional power in standby mode.
POWER OPTION: Access to configuration of Auto Power Down Timer, Max
Power On Volume, Power Mode and Signal Sense Input.
POWER OPTION
AUTO POWER DOWN TIMER : Disable
MAX POWER ON VOLUME : 45
POWER MODE : Normal
SIGNAL SENSE INPUT : Disable
AUTO POWER DOWN TIMER: Sets the amount of time the units stays
powered on when there is no audio signal. The RAP-1580 will
automatically go to standby mode if audio is not detected for the
specified timer period.
Valid settings include: Disable, 1 Hour, 2 Hours, 4 Hours.
MAX POWER ON VOLUME: Specifies a maximum volume level to be
used each time the unit powered on, between 20 dB to 70 dB, in 1
dB increments.
POWER MODE: Enables the RAP-1580 to be controlled via the network
port when attached to an automation system. This option also allows
the rear panel USB power port to remain powered at all times. The
power consumption is higher in Quick Power mode. If network control
is not required select the Normal Power mode. To enable IP automation
controls or continuous power to the rear USB power port select the
Quick option. This function is similar to the Network Wake Up option.
"Normal" is the factory default.
Valid settings include: Normal, Quick.
NOTE: When the POWER MODE is configured to Quick, the RAP- 1580
will consume additional power in standby mode.
SIGNAL SENSE INPUT: Checks if a digital audio signal is present on
the configured Signal Sense Input. When this input is selected as the
active listening source, the RAP-1580 monitors the digital data stream to
determine if there is audio. If there is no audio detected for 10 minutes,
the RAP-1580 will enter Signal Sense Standby Mode. When in Signal
Sense Standby Mode and the RAP-1580 detects audio on Signal Sense
BACK
Input, the unit will automatically power on. To disable this function, select
the DISABLE option which is the factory default setting.
NOTE: To use the Signal Sense function, the RAP-1580 must be actively
listening to the configured Signal Sense source. If a source other than
the configured Signal Sense source is selected, the automatic power
off and power on functions will not be active. Example: if the Signal
Sense source is configured as COAX 1 and the unit is listening to OPT
2, the signal sense functions will not be activated.
NOTE: When the RAP-1580 enters standby mode via the remote
control, the Signal Sense function will not operate until the unit detects
the audio has stopped for the minimum 10 minute time-out period. This
prevents the unit from immediately powering back on if there is still
active audio playing.
NOTE: When the SIGNAL SENSE INPUT function is activated, the RAP-
1580 will consume additional power in signal sense standby mode.
NETWORK CONFIGURATION: Sets the network configuration for the unit. In
most systems, set the IP ADDRESS MODE to DHCP. This setting will allow
your router to assign an IP address to the RAP-1580 automatically. If your
network uses fixed IP addresses, set the IP ADDRESS MODE to Static. A
fixed or STATIC IP address requires manually entering the IP Address, Subnet
Mask, Gateway, and DNS in the IP ADDRESS CONFIGURATION sub menu.

SOFTWARE INFORMATION: Displays the current software installed in the
unit. It shows the MAIN, DSP and STANDBY software versions. There is also
an option to check for software updates. This feature lets the unit search
for software updates on the Internet. The network needs to be properly
configured. Alternatively, you can load the software through the front USB
socket. For more information on the software update process please contact
your authorized Rotel dealer.
RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT: This option sets the unit back to the original
setting as when it left the factory. All user setting will be erased.

all use configured options will be erased and reset to original factory
settings.
