Important :
Never heat chafing dishes without water in the water bath tank. (Remember to check the water level
when switching on, when changing the food dishes and after an extended period of use.)
Please read separate instructions on how to adjust the brake (see contents).
After use :
Switch off heating elements, disconnect mains plug.
Extinguish paste burner.
Allow heating element or paste burner to cool before removing.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not immerse electric hot plate in water or clean under running water. If cleaning is necessary, wipe
with a damp cloth when cold.
The frame, tank and lid (including the brake) can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.
Limescale deposits in the tank can be removed using vinegar or a vinegar-based cleaner.
6.
POSSIBLE OPERATING FAULTS
Water poured into tank not hot enough (at least 70°C).
Heating element not in close contact with base of water bath tank.
Too short or no pre-heating.
Chafing dish lid left open, causing food to dry up and wasting energy. Always remember to close the lid in
between times.
