Installation notes

- Unit should be installed firmly. 3-4 checks a year should be carried out.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight.
- Keep away from television or radio sets.
- Keep away from inflammable gases.
- In special areas, consult your distributor before installing.
- Do not install in laundry rooms.
- Install where electrical connections are accessible.
- Select a well-ventilated location or performance may decrease or noise increase.
Installation and transport

Installation and transport have been carried out by qualified personnel.

Use only accessories specified for installation so as to avoid leaks or short circuits.

Install taking into account possible winds.

If the unit is to be moved, consult your technical service.
Grounding: Make sure grounding connection is correct. Also make sure that the installation has a correctly sized directional magneto thermal switch (see following table). Do not connect ground
to gas or water pipes.
Turns on after switching off when SET TEMP is pressed.
When turned on.
When cooling.
After turning unit off.
Buzzing at start.
Sound of water while in operation.
A «shuh» sound at start up or system turns off, or when defrost
starts or ends.
A continuous low «shuh» sound in cooling or when unit turns
off.
A cracking sound while in operation or after turning off.
After not being used for a long period of time.
While in operation.
Location
Problem
You must wait 3 minutes after compressor goes off.
Wait for one minute.
Room air condenses quickly, causing frost.
Compressor generates heat in preparation for start.
Noise of thermostat starting. This noise will decrease after
a minute.
This is caused by circulation of refrigerant.
Due to refrigerant flow, or change in flow.
This is heard while pump is in operation.
Caused by expansion or contraction of the plastic due to
thermal effects.
Dirt absorbed is expulsed.
Due to odours in the room.
- Install unit with supports that can withstand its weight. If not, it could fall.
- Select a location where noise or hot air will not bother neighbours.
- Do not place objects near air discharges.
- If any irregular noise is heard, contact your technical service.

Makes sure wiring has been carried out by qualified personnel and in compliance with regula-
tions in force and these instructions, using an independent line and a correct switch.

Make sure to ground.

Cable diameter should be correct.
