About This Product

The adapter module is mounted to the right side of the bus coupler or the
AV system. The bus coupler controls and supplies power to the adapter
module via the backplane. There are 32 outputs available on the adapter
module to which the valve system with B-design interface is connected.
Further participants cannot be connected on the right side.
The adapter module for the multipole connections passes on the remaining
signals from the AV multipole system to the valve system with B-design
interface. A maximum of 30 signals can be passed on. It can be used with
an AV multipole system with D-SUB 25-pole or D-SUB 44-pole.
The adapter module does not have any plug connectors that have to be
connected by the customer. The adapter module has no setting elements
or display elements.

Mount the adapter module AES-B-design on a bus coupler
1. Mount the bus coupler with 3 hexagonal socket-head screws (DIN 6912)
M4 x 40 mm (3) and the washers (4) on the left side of the adapter
module (1) R412023458.
– Make sure that the seal between the housings is positioned correctly
in the slot.
– Make sure that the plug-type connection pins are not bent and make
contact with the corresponding socket in the bus coupler.
Tightening torque: 1.6 +0.4 Nm
2. Now join the bus coupler with the adapter module to the valve system
with B-design interface on a flat surface.
– Make sure that the triple row socket strip is not offset from the pins
on the valve unit.
– Make sure that the seal between the housings is positioned correctly
in the slot.
3. Screw both devices with 2 hexagonal socket-head screws (DIN 912)
M5 x 14 mm (2) to the corresponding valve system with B-design
interface, e.g. HF03-LG.
