PREPARATION FOR USE
ASSEMBLING THE REEL
ATTENTION: Make sure the welder is not connected to the power supply.
NOTE: Welding reels are available in specialised stores.
1.
Open the side panel by pressing the safety lock.
2.
Remove the lock nut and retaining disk.
3.
Position the reel (not supplied) on the shaft so that it seats on the spring.
•
Do not release tension on the cable as it may cause feeding problems later.
•
The cable should be rolled up counter-clockwise from the bottom of the reel.
•
The reel must be placed in the correct direction; otherwise it will not work properly.

ADJUSTING THE ROLLER SIZE
1.
Loosen the lock nut and turn it towards you.
2.
Raise the arm.
3.
Take the triangular nut on the roller cover and turn it 90º to the left to release it.
4.
Pull the roller lock nut outwards to release it.
5.
Remove the roller from the shaft. The notch or guide groove has a mark on the side corresponding to the
roller, and has two different sizes. Select the size of the roller notch according to the diameter of the wire.
Put the roller with the mark towards you.
6.
Replace the roller cover on the shaft.
7.
Make sure that the flanges on the base of the roller cover fit completely in the circular holes of the weld
and then rotate the roller cover 90º to secure it.
