THERMAL OVERLOAD
Thermal overload shuts off the weld when it overheats. This phenomenon is due to the fact that the recommended
work cycle has been exceeded. This happens to avoid any damage to the machine. When this occurs, the warning
light will lit up.
Allow the weld to cool and the warning light to turn off before restarting the job. Do not turn off the weld, since the
fan will stop cooling. Do not leave the welder unsupervised during this time.
WORK CYCLE
The work cycle is expressed in the percentage of time in which the machine must be used within a specific period of
time and electrical load.
The cycle has a time of 10 minutes at 100%, that is, a cycle of 60% corresponds to 6 minutes.

MAINTENANCE

ATTENTION
Electricity can kill you. Never touch the electrified components.
Disconnect the power supply before checking or carrying out any maintenance work. Be equally
attentive to hot surfaces.
Always allow the welder to cool completely before accessing its internal components.
Using the example of the illustration, if you work using 50 A, then you must use the machine for 3.5 minutes (35%) in a
10 minutes period. The frequency of maintenance tasks will depend on the operating conditions, the intensity in which
the unit is used and how clean the place where it is being used is.
Always check the ground connection and the hose of the torch before using it. Make sure everything is in perfect
condition and that the ground clamp is clean and properly fixed to the cable. Check the hose for any type of damage
or wear.
As a general rule, the electrical supply must be checked at least once a year. Consult your provider if you think it is
necessary.
CABLE FEED UNIT
The feeder reel plays an important role in terms of the quality of the results obtained with the welder. Clean the rollers
weekly, especially the grooves, removing any kind of dirt.
TORCH
Protect the hose set from the internal gears. Clean the torch protection using compressed air. If this protection is
blocked, it must be changed immediately.
CONTACT TIP
The contact tip is a consumable item and should be replaced when necessary. The contact tip must be kept free of
splashes to ensure good gas flow. To keep the contact tip free from splashes, we recommend using a splash spray,
available at any store.
TORCH COVER
The protective cover of the torch must be kept clean and free of any spatter. Any type of dirt can cause a short circuit,
which will cause severe damage to the welder.
