6. Operation
The thermometer can measure temperature in 3 ways, using IR, probe
or clamp. The desired way will determine how to switch on the
thermometer:
to use the IR sensor [A], press the IRT button [D].

to use the clamp [H], press the ON/OFF button [F].
o
to use the probe [I], first unfold the probe [I], and then press the
o
ON/OFF button [F].
In hold mode, the thermometer will automatically switch of after ±15s,
in continuous mode after ±20min.
IR-mode
All data is shown on the IR LCD [B1].
Aim the IR sensor [A] towards the target and press and hold the IRT
button [D] to measure the temperature. When releasing the IRT button
[D] the last measured value will remain on the display.
Note: The distance-to-target ratio is 1:1; the thermometer should be
held as close as possible to the target.
