Setting the speed limiter
14.2 Setting the handling of the current top speed
You have a number of options for the way MagicSpeed MS880 interprets the
current top speed:
as an actual speed limit
The system will not allow the currently set top speed to be exceeded.
as a speed limit, which can only be exceeded by kick down (pressing the
accelerator).
You can exceed the currently set top speed up to the absolute maximum
speed.
as a reference value with a warning function which can be exceeded
The system will only emit three low-pitched warning signals when the cur-
rently set top speed is exceeded. You can also exceed the absolute max-
imum speed.
Step 1
Start setup mode (chapter "Starting setup mode" on page 91).
Apply the brake and hold it down.
Press the RES button six times in rapid succession.
You will hear six low-pitched signals.
Release the brake.
You will hear six acoustic signals.
