standby mode. The button indicator lights up. "100" and the "°C" indicator
are blinking.
2. To switch to Fahrenheit press "–" or "+". "212" and the "°F" indicator
are blinking.
3. To switch back press "–" or "+".
4. To save the adjustment do not press any button for three seconds.
TIME DELAY Function
The function enables the appliance to finish at a certain time. The program
can be delayed for up to 24 hours in 10 minute intervals.
1. Select the program and adjust the cook time. Press TIME DELAY (the
button indicator lights up, the TIME DELAY indicator is displayed). The
START/KEEP WARM, OK, "+", and "–" button indicators are blinking.
2. Adjust the hour. Press "+" to increase and "–" to reduce the time. Press
and hold the button down to scroll through the digits. When the
maximum value is reached the device goes back to the minimum
value.
3. After the hour is adjusted, repress the TIME DELAY button, and use
"+" and "–" to adjust the minutes.
4. To cancel the adjustments press CANCEL/REHEAT and start over.
The function is not applicable in SAUTE, PANCAKE, PASTA, PIZZA,
BREAD, CRUST, EXPRESS.
KEEP WARM Function
The function automatically activates at the end of the cooking program
and keeps the dish warm at 170–175°F (75–80°С) for up to 24 hours.
When the multicooker is in KEEP WARM the START/KEEP WARM button
indicator goes off, The CANCEL/REHEAT button indicator lights up. The
REHEAT indicator is displayed, KEEP WARM time starts to progress.
Disable Keep Warm in Advance
To disable the function during the cycle press and hold down the START/
KEEP WARM button, until the CANCEL/REHEAT button indicator goes off.
To enable the function press and hold down START/KEEP WARM, the
CANCEL/REHEAT button indicator lights up.
REHEAT Function
Reheats cold dishes. To reheat:
1. Follow steps 1–2 in "Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic Pro-
grams".
2. Press and hold down the CANCEL/REHEAT button. The button indicator
lights up and the device starts to reheat the dish. The REHEAT indicator
is displayed and the Timer counts the REHEAT time. The appliance
warms the food up to 170°F (75°С) and maintaines the temperature
for up to 24 hours. To disable the funtion press CANCEL/REHEAT (the
button indicator goes off).
The function may operate for a period of 24 hours, however, we
recommend using it moderately because prolonged thermal exposure
may sometimes affect the flavor of the meal.
MASTERCHIEF Function
The Multicooker REDMOND RMC-250A is equipped with the versatile
function MASTERCHIEF, which makes the options nearly endless. The
function can make up to 10 time and temperature adjustments during
one cycle (except the EXPRESS and YOGURT programs). The entire se-
quence of time and temperature adjustments can be saved to the mem-
ory. Use MASTERCHIEF to create your own programs.
SAUTE and CRUST cook time must not exceed 2 hours, to prevent
overheating.
Enabling/disabling the KEEP WARM function, without changing the
cook time or temperature is not considered to be an adjustment.
MASTERCHIEF can be an extremely useful tool when using compli-
cated recipes, requiring multi-stage cooking techniques (beef stro-
ganoff, soups, pasta, jams, etc.).
To Adjust the Temperature:
1. Press the TEMP button while the program is in progress. The Temperature
indicator blinks.
2. Use "+" and "–" to adjust the temperature from 95 to 340°F (35 to
170°С) in 1 degree intervals.
