Operations
CAUTION:
To operate on steel rims, and on certain alloy rims
which have a very sharp edge, you will also need to
use the plastic protection shown in Figure 5.4.6.
This must be placed over the rim and locked in position
by the manual bead pusher to avoid damaging the
bead during the fi nal phase of the mounting procedure,
when it is inserted defi nitively into its housing on the
rim Figure 5.4.7.
Complete the mounting phase as described in the
instructions for conventional wheels.
Infl ate the tire to get a good beading and unload the
wheel as described in the relative section.
