1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The io RGB LED receiver is a receiver equipped with the io-homecontrol® radio technology. It allows 1 coloured LED
light source (RGB) and 1 white LED light source to be controlled independently at constant voltage using a constant
voltage power supply unit (12 or 24 V) via a Somfy io-homecontrol® control unit (for more details, contact your
retailer).
The io RGB LED receiver makes it possible to vary the light intensity of the LED lights. It also makes it possible to vary
the colour of the coloured LED light.
A preferred light intensity of the white LED light can be programmed in the favourite position along with a favourite
light intensity with a selected colour for the coloured LED light: for example, the favourite position can be set to night-
light type lighting. The factory default setting for the favourite light intensity is set at 50% of the maximum intensity
and red for the coloured LED light.
Its small size enables it to be discretely installed near to the product it is controlling by connecting it directly to the
power supply unit.
With a protection rating of IP 55, the io RGB LED receiver io is suitable for outside use, ideally to control terrace lighting.
