TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem
The motor stops directly
after starting.
Pump runs but no suction.
Pump runs but poor suction.
Abnormal sound from
machine.
Fault
Incorrect fuse.
Thermal overload not set
correctly.
Motor protector tripped.
Hose not connected.
Hose plugged.
The container is not properly Assemble containers.
fi tted.
Hole in the hose.
Blocked fi lter.
Hose too long or too small.
Hose is kinked.
Machine top is mounted
incorrectly.
Dust is packed in the
cyclone.

Solution
Change to correct circuit.
Electrician should adjust.
Investigate why the motor has
loaded and attend. Note that if
the machine has been working
with too big a restriction, the
motor protector may have trip-
ped to protect against overhea-
ting. Wait 5 minutes. Reset by
fi rst turning to the 0 position
and then to the starting posi-
tion.
Connect the hose.
Find and remove block.
Change or repair hose.
Clean or change fi lter.
Change the hose.
Check and free.
Adjust the mounting.
Take off the top and clean
out.
