Using the AC adapter
1. Insert the AC adapter jack
into the AC adapter inlet on
the right side of the main unit
2. Plug the AC adapter into the
power outlet
CAUTION: This equipment must be used with the
included AC adapter or 4 AA batteries.
How to set up
Use the scale on a fi rm, fl at and stable location
• Do not position scale
anywhere that is subject
to direct sunlight, near
heating equipment, or
directly in the path of an
air conditioner outlet,
or other source of high
airfl ow
• Do not use scale anywhere
that is subject to signifi cant temperature change
• Do not position scale anywhere that is either damp or
subject to high humidity
• After positioning the scale and before use, pick up the baby
tray from both sides to confi rm that the tray is secure, and
not easily removed
• Ensure that the tray locking lever is pushed in
