Installation and connection

How to proceed:
 B, C
1. Place the unit and the connected artificial water lily into the water.
– The artificial water lily floats on the surface of the water.
Ensure that the power cord has a length of at least 10 m and that the power plug is located at least 2 m from the
edge of the pond. The artificial water lilies have a length of 1 m, which must be greater than the depth of the wa-
ter in order to ensure that the water is supplied with oxygen from the air.
2. Route the connection cable to the socket.
– The unit can be connected to a fixed indoor or outdoor socket. The socket used may be fixed in a wall or the
ground. If an outdoor socket it used, ensure that it has a moisture protection rating of at least IPX4. The fixed
socket must be installed with an enclosure as shown in Fig. B in order to comply with protection rating IPX4
– Do not use portable sockets for the unit power supply. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock if the portable
socket falls into the water.
– Ensure that the socket is installed at least 2 m from the edge of the pond. Ensure that the horizontal height of the
fixed socket is at least 50 cm above the edge of the pond. Socket installations must comply with the national reg-
ulations and may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
– Switching on: Connect the connection cable to the mains. The LEDs in the float will light up, the pump will start
operating.
– Switching off: Disconnect the connection cable from the mains.
3. Set the desired bubbling intensity.
– To increase the bubbling intensity: Turn the valve knob clockwise.
– To reduce the bubbling intensity: Turn the valve knob counterclockwise.

Remedy of faults

Malfunction
LEDs are not lit
Insufficient bubbling intensity.
Insufficient or no pump delivery.

Maintenance and cleaning

The unit has to be taken out of the water for cleaning or maintenance.
Unplug before taking out for cleaning or maintenance.
W A R N I N G
Possible death or severe injury from hazardous electrical voltage!
• Prior to reaching into the water, isolate (switch off and disconnect) all units/devices used in the water.
