Model BR 102-F is used for wireless interconnection with Brennenstuhl's
model smoke alarm. It is not interconnectable with other brands of smoke
alarms.
BR 102-F shall be installed outside of each separate sleeping area in the im-
mediate vicinity of the beedrooms, and on each additional story of the family
living unit including basements and excluding crawl spaces and unfinished
attics. The recommended additional areas are living room, dining room,
bedrooms(s), attic (finished) utility room, basement and hallaway.
Caution
Research indicates that substantial increase in warning time can be obtained
with each properly installed, additional alarms. It is strongly recommended
that a smoke alarm be located in each room in your house (except the bath-
room) to ensure maximum protection.

Location to avoid
• In an area where the temperature may fall below 40° F or rise above 100° F.
• In very humid area of near of bathroom, kitchen, moisture or steam may
cause the unit to false alarm.
• In dead air space.
• The garage – automobile exhaust air may cause false alarm.
