Place the car seat onto the car seat base facing in the direction of travel and press the car seat down
until you hear a "click" (19-20).
The car seat can be set 3 recline position, to recline the car seat see section "RECLINING YOUR CAR
SEAT".
To remove the car seat from the base, simultaneously press the car seat release button while lifting
the car seat up out of the base (21-22).
INSTALLING YOUR CHILD IN THE CAR SEAT
Firstly open the buckle by pressing the red button in the center of the buckle (27).Then sit your
child in the car seat, passing their arms through the shoulder straps.
Bring the harness connectors together and insert into the buckle until you hear a "click" (28).
Tighten the harness by pulling on the harness adjustment strap (29), once tight make sure that
there is no more than a fingers width between the harness and your child.
The child' head should sit directly in the middle of the headrest and the sides of the headrest
should sit just above the child's shoulders, and the shoulder straps should be level with or below
your child's shoulder (26). If this is not case please refer to section "Headrest and Safely Harness
Adjustment".
CHECKLIST
WARNING! A correctly adjusted harness is essential for your child's protection. There should not be
more than a fingers width between the harness and your child.
However safe a child seat is, well built it is, your child's safely depends on you carrying out the
following checks before every journey.
- Set the harness correctly and to the correct shoulder height (23-29)!
- Ensure the harness straps are not twisted!
- Check the harness is set for the clothing and not loose!
- Ensure the seat liner is suitable for the weight and age of your child!
- Check the harness is secure with the buckle and shoulder strap connectors latched together and
harness tension is correct (27-28)!
- Check the car seat is facing rearwards in the vehicle (15) and in the fully reclined position!
IMPORTANT! Misusing your child car seat will reduce the protection and safety you offer your
child.
RECLINING YOUR CAR SEAT (Forward Facing only)
WARNING! For rearward facing your child car seat should be in the fully upright position only.
For forward facing your child car seat can be reclined in a choice of three positions to make it
comfortable for your child (30).
The recline lever (P) is located under the front edge of the seat shell.
Squeeze and lift the lever to release the lock and then pull forward or push back to the preferred
recline position (30).
